The Electromagnetic body contouring procedure feels like an intense workout of muscles in the target area being treated. The intensity level is increased by the Body Sculpting Specialist during the course of the treatment based on your feedback and tolerance level. The level is gradually increased over the series of treatments. You can lay down, relax, read and talk during the treatment. Use of portable electronic devices is not recommended since proximity to the Electromagnetic applicator may cause damage to delicate electronics.

The addition of RF to the Electromagnetic treatment optimizes fat reduction. The energy passes safely through the skin to stimulate supramaximal contractions in the underlying muscle. The muscle contractions are far more powerful than a person can induce on their own through exercise. Tens of thousands of contractions are induced through each treatment. Prior to your treatment, you will come into Slim and Tone for a free consultation with one of our Body Sculpting Specialists. Depending on what questions you may have, your consultation will take between 15 and 30 minutes.

The Electromagnetic treatment takes about 30 minutes. Some people may elect to have additional treatments performed. Since this treatment is non-surgical and non-invasive, there is no downtime. You could schedule a treatment for your lunch break and return to work immediately after! Normal physical activities can be resumed immediately after your treatment.

All we ask is for you to hydrate well in order for your body to properly metabolize and get the best results possible. Exercising post treatment is highly favorable, as you will see 2-3x better results. The treatment puts your body in a muscle building state for 6 weeks after each treatment. We always recommend working out during your course of treatments – even if it’s very light!

YES! Electromagnetic treatments may result in some skin tightening in the treated area due to the RF component. We also offer Ultra Slim 360 which is used specifically for fat melting and skin tightening.

While pain and discomfort are relative and experiences will vary, our EMS treatments involve minimal discomfort, if any at all. During your session, you will feel muscles contract with the intensity level gradually increased by a Specialist. After treatment, you will feel like your muscles have been worked. Our machine also handles muscle recovery, so any soreness you may feel will be mild and short-lived.

Prior to or after a pregnancy, our Electromagnetic treatment has no negative impact on women. However, pregnant women are advised not to undergo an Electromagnetic treatment on any part of their body.

This treatment is not recommended in some circumstances due to the electromagnetic effects of the treatment. It isn’t an appropriate choice if you:
